This Trinity Knot Pendant is the perfect gift for a loved one.Traditionally in Ireland a man would offer a trinket to a loved one to signify his affection towards her, the trinket would normally be in the form of a necklace, earrings or ring. The Triquetra or “Trinity Knot” is often used because it represents the three promises of a relationship, which are to Love, Honour and Protect. However this is not the only meaning behind the Trinity Knot, it is also used in Christianity to represent the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Trinity Knot is the simplest of the Celtic knots and is instantly recognizable. It is highly depicted in the Book of Kells.
