30 Day Returns Guarantee & Restocking Fees

Claddagh Jewellers offer a 30 Day Returns Policy which covers all regular stock items. Should the item/s that you purchased not be to your satisfaction we are happy to offer you a Credit Note to the full value for the item purchased. Alternatively we can offer a Refund less the restocking fee, as shown below, for the item you purchased. We regret that for hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned.

RESTOCKING FEES

Claddagh Jewellers will give you a refund of the purchase price of the product minus a restocking fee as shown below to cover insurance restocking and all associated administration fees. Custom Made items, Special Orders or Personalised or Engraved items are non refundable. The restocking service does not include shipping charges,

Bespoke Items less 50% (minus the design charge)

 

Refunds are made through the original form of payment and will be issued once an item is received and checked.

RETURN FOR RESIZING OR REPAIR

Should you wish to return an item to us for resizing or repair at any point please first email us with your request. If the item has been purchased in the past 30 days there will be no additional cost for resizing, you will only need to pay the shipping costs. For repairs we will usually need to see the item first to determine if it is a manufacturing fault, in which case it would be covered under our guarantee, but if not we will be happy to examine the item and quote you for any repairs that need to be done. Repairs will not be carried out until we receive your written consent first after you have received the quote.


HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Should you wish to return an item to us for any reason please follow this simple procedure in order to make the process as speedy and efficient as possible.

1 - Email us first to advise us of the issue quoting your Order Number and full Name & Address. You can email us at

2 - If you are returning an item for refund, credit or exchange, securely pack it in the original packaging and include all accompanying materials.
    If you are returning an item for repair or resizing wrap it securely so it does not receive any further damage (if you have the original box then use this). 

Use a padded envelope for sending to protect the contents.

3 - Please enclose a short note giving us the reason for returning the item, as well as your original order number or the name it was placed under.

4 - We advise shipping the item using Registered Post and request a receipt to have as proof of posting, both for your own records and to use should your order be delayed or misplaced in transit. 
    Items sent by normal post (non-registered) are not covered by our insurance and as such, if lost or damaged we cannot be held liable.  

5 - Mark the outside of the parcel clearly either RETURN FOR REFUND or RETURN FOR REPAIR. If this is not on the parcel we may be requested to pay Duty on it and as such would be unable to accept the parcel and it will be returned to you for the paperwork to be corrected and shipped to us again.

Please note that your item will be received by Claddagh Jewellers, but you should not write "jewellery", "jewellers" or other related words on the outside of your parcel, for security reasons.
