In March 2006, Claddagh Jewellers moved from their shop in the Eyre Square Centre, where they had been since 1991, to their new location. A prominent four floor building at the intersection of Shop Street, High Street & Mainguard Street in the heart of Galway City is now the new home of Claddagh Jewellers.
The ground floor features an expanded range of fine Irish Jewellery including Claddagh & Celtic pieces manufactured on the premises and selected pieces from top Irish jewellery producers such as Fado and Shanore. Also in stock, a wide choice of watches - and with brands including Rotary, Citizen, Swatch & Rovada Irish watches you are sure to find that special gift.
The first floor is The Diamond Suite, displaying one of the largest selections of both contemporary and traditional diamond ring styles, many made or customized in their own workshops. From their exclusive diamond set claddagh rings to solitaire diamond set claddagh rings with the very latest branded diamonds such as the Cushette, their expert staff will offer you guidance and advice, personally attending to you in your own private fitting room.
The second floor now houses theCladdagh.com, Claddagh Jewellers' Internet Sales & Service department, taking calls & processing orders from around the globe.
Finally we arrive at the top floor which, with its windows overlooking the rooftop of St Nicholas' Parish Church, is the highest of jewellery workshops in Galway - producing fine items of Irish jewellery direct from the home of the Claddagh Ring.
We used to be located on the ground floor of the Eyre Square Centre, a spacious shopping mall constructed in 1991, which contains many of the ancient archaeological splendors of old Galway, including part of the City walls that gave protection to it’s inhabitants during medieval times. Our shop was in fact just outside these city walls.
We have since moved to a building that we purchased on Shop Street in the very heart of Galway City Center. You can find us under the colorful beanstalk mural at the intersection of Shop Street, Mainguard Street and High Street.
In 2015 we opened a new store in the heart of Dublin. It is located at 50 Nassau Street opposite the historic Trinity College, which houses the exquisite Book of Kells. Here we showcase a wide selection of Celtic and Claddagh jewellery, many of which have been handcrafted in our workshops in Galway.
Should you decide to visit us here in Galway or Dublin, our dedicated staff will be delighted to welcome you to our shops.
Alternatively, our fully secure on-line store and Free-phone facilities will ensure that your inquiries are handled and your orders looked after, by people who wish to provide you with lasting jewellery, created in our own workshops here in Galway, the home of the Claddagh Ring.
